Just watched this for the 2nd time in the last few mos and gosh I so love this!! Self-care is a wonderful reminder because for one I think I can keep pushing and then when I'm struggling with life in general or my kids and then I have a good day I think ohh yeah I need to take care of myself more with more sleep. Reading is another thing I put off and yet when I do it feels so good! And support, support! It makes me realize that as scared as I think I am support in friendships and especially with my mentor which I've been putting off is so vital. I love these!! Touching and moving her hair WAY TOO MUCH. Super distracting. Comes off like she is looking at herself in the mirror and inviting us to watch her look at herself. Tiffany Speaks is the name of a famous diversity and inclusion professor. That's confusing. Also says "RIGHT?" WAY TOO MUCH, as well. By saying, "right?" To her audience it gives the listeners a second to question the message instead of internalize it and believe it. When the listeners question it, "right?", we actually question the speakers confidence in the message instead, "right?". It's subconscious but legit. Lots of MLM infomercials, as well as AA accountability partner from 12 steps program, vibe here as well. Sells her own products by convincing us we need her product to have "self care". Isn't that taking care of her, instead? She uses the example of being our own architect by sharing a story of someone else building their dream home, by hiring someone else to do it. That's not an architect, rather just an ordinary homebuyer using a paid builder to do the work. That's not creating anything if someone else is getting paid to do it and you just watch the process as it goes along. She uses a lot of material I have heard from other popular authors, except she doesn't give them the credit. The rest or the message is just "Valley Girl Fluff". She magically pulls you into alot of nothingness that takes along time to say 5 sentences of substance. Support and accountability are NOT the same thing. Connections, friends and relationships are NOT the same thing as accountability, either. She uses magic words like support, gratitude, vision, accountability, self care, self love, fuel, light, invite, commit, mindset, re-commit, and so on. Gives the illusion of instructions when really just key words to hopefully trigger emotions in the listener but our minds fill in the blanks. Beautiful lady, though.

People who are meant to serve special need kids don't feel "comfortable". There is the certainty that no amount of money could lure you away. And the kids pick up on that. Sounds like you made the right choice for you and for them.
